Japan Airport Building Corporation will revise the passenger facility charge (PFC) at Haneda Airport effective September 1. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism approved the revision of the upper limit on June 23.
The new fares apply only to domestic flights and will take effect for tickets issued and flights taken on or after September 1. Fares for adults (ages 12 and older) will increase from 450 yen to 595 yen, and fares for children (ages 3 to 11) will increase from 220 yen to 297 yen.
Facility usage fees are collected at the time of ticket purchase, along with the airfare, and are used to fund the maintenance of various facilities, such as departure and arrival lobbies and gate lounges. The most recent revision to these fees took place in April 2025.
