Last fiscal year, JICA launched “Pacific-DIVE,” a program designed to identify and support innovative technologies and business solutions from Japanese companies aimed at addressing development challenges in the Pacific region. This program targets companies aiming to develop business initiatives that contribute to solving local challenges while creating synergies with JICA projects in the Pacific region, and we have opened applications for the 2026 fiscal year. We look forward to hearing from companies interested in joining us to create new value through this program!
Recruitment Overview
Application Period: Monday, June 15, 2026 – Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Eligibility
(1) Technical Cooperation Partnership Framework: Solutions that contribute to creating synergies with projects that JICA is currently implementing or plans to implement in the Pacific region
・”Project to Develop a Regional Revitalization Plan through the Management and Preservation of Historical Heritage” to be implemented in Palau
(2) Priority Country Designation: Countries where JICA wishes to focus on co-creation with private companies, and solutions that can contribute to solving development challenges
・Papua New Guinea (Areas of particular interest: mining development and operations; support for communities surrounding mines (disaster prevention, environment, health/medical care, etc.))
・East Timor (Areas of particular interest: economic diversification (agriculture, fisheries, tourism, etc.), disaster risk reduction, and infrastructure resilience)
③ Open Category: Solutions that are not limited to the categories listed in ① and ② above, but can contribute to solving development challenges in the Oceania region as identified by the applying company itself
