Tokyo Disney Resort and JR Central will begin operating a special Shinkansen train, the “Sparkling Dreams Shinkansen,” on June 19. Ahead of this, a photo spot has been set up at Nagoya Station. It will be open from June 15 to 19.
This photo spot will be available at select stations along the route (between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka), allowing visitors to enjoy taking photos while immersing themselves in the atmosphere of the anniversary event, “Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary: ‘Sparkling Jubilee.’”
This is the second special train formation, following the “Wonderful Dreams Shinkansen” that began service in 2025. The train cars feature illustrations of Mickey Mouse, Duffy, and other characters dressed in special 25th-anniversary outfits against the backdrop of eight theme ports.
The train’s interior features original headrests, the 25th-anniversary theme song “Come Join the Jubilee” playing throughout the car, and table stickers. The inaugural train is the Hikari 632, departing Nagoya Station at 6:45 a.m. and arriving at Tokyo Station at 8:42 a.m. (scheduled). The full schedule is available on a dedicated website.
