JR Tokai and JR West will offer “EX Early Special☆Time-Limited Sale! on some train dates and destinations during the Bon vacation period.
This product offers a discount on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen during the Bon Festival, including 15,000 yen for adults and 7,500 yen for children for a reserved seat in a standard car of the “Nozomi” train between Tokyo and Hiroshima for two or more passengers. The sales period is from June 26 to 40 days prior to each boarding date.
The service period is August 7-10 for the up direction (Nagoya, Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, Okayama, Hiroshima – Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama). Downbound (Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama – Nagoya, Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, Okayama, Hiroshima – Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama) is from August 13 to 16. Seats cannot be reserved at the time of reservation, but can be changed after 10:00 a.m. one month prior to the boarding date.
As an example of the sale, if two adults and two children travel from Hiroshima to Tokyo (one way) on the “EX Early Special☆Time Limited Sale! for Hiroshima – Tokyo (one way) with 2 adults and 2 children, 15,000 yen x 2 and 7,500 yen x 2 will be a total of 45,000 yen, a savings of 14,880 yen.
