The 74th Kumagaya Fireworks Festival will be held on August 8. Advance sales of paid spectator seats will be available until June 10, starting from the front near the fireworks.

Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture, will hold the 74th Kumagaya Fireworks Festival on August 8. The event will take place along the Arakawa River (downstream from the Arakawa Ohashi Bridge) from 19:00 to 21:00. In case of stormy weather, the event will be postponed to the following day.

The number of fireworks to be launched is approximately 10,000, with a maximum size of 10. In addition to the shaku-dama, starmine, and message fireworks, a starmine competition is scheduled to be held by fireworks companies.

The finale of the festival will be an extra-large fireworks display, “Sukumamu! Wide Starmine,” which will be the finale of the festival, is now on sale at Ticket Pia and Seven-Eleven (multi-copy machine) until 11:59 p.m. on June 10.

Masu seats (for 4 people) are 44,000 yen, table seats (for 4 people) are 36,000 yen, blue seat seats (for 4 people) are 24,000 yen, and chair seats (for 1 person) are 8,000 yen, including 1,000 yen per person for support sponsorship. The seats can be purchased in advance of the general public sale and will be guided from “the front seats closer to the fireworks.
