Katsushika City and the Katsushika City Tourism Association will hold the “60th Katsushika Noryo Fireworks Festival” on July 28.
The venue is the “Katsushika Shibamata Baseball Ground” (7-17-13 Shibamata, Katsushika-ku, Tokyo) on the banks of the Edogawa River. The event will be held rain or shine, and will be cancelled (without postponement) in the event of inclement weather.
This year, the 60th anniversary of the event, approximately 20,000 fireworks will be shot and a drone show will also be held. The launch site is close to the spectator seats, so the sound will resonate throughout the body, and visitors will be able to enjoy the powerful fireworks.
Tickets for paid seats will be available on the Ticket Pia website. Pre-sales for ward residents will begin at 10:00 a.m. on June 5, and general sales will begin at 10:00 a.m. on June 22, both on a first-come, first-served basis.
Ticket prices include, for example, “SS Seats” in front of the launch site, 12,000 yen for a single seat to 30,000 yen for a four-person section; “A Seats” with sloping blue seats, 12,000 yen for a two-person section to 22,000 yen for a four-person section; and “Flat Seats”, 5,000 yen for a single seat to 27,000 yen for a six-person section.
