Rakuten Travel is holding its “Rakuten Travel Super SALE,” offering great deals on travel bookings, through June 20. The sale features special rates at hotels and hot spring inns nationwide, and when combined with currently available coupons, discounts of up to 30% can be applied.

At “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Atami” (8-3 Sakimi-cho, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture), the “Luxury Ocean View Getaway: 1 Night with 2 Meals Included (Basic Buffet Plan)”—which lets guests enjoy local cuisine and abundant hot spring waters—is currently available at a 5% discount. For the “Superior Japanese-Style Room (10 tatami mats) with Private Bath (Ocean View)” overlooking the Atami sea, rates range from 13,910 yen to 35,455 yen per person when two people share a room.

This inn is popular for its ocean-view lobby and guest rooms, and guests can enjoy its large communal bath, open-air bath, and semi-open-air bath, all designed in a modern Japanese style. Located about 50 minutes from Tokyo, it’s just a 7-minute walk from the lively shopping street in front of Atami Station, making it an ideal base for exploring the town and sightseeing in Atami.

The dinner buffet features Izu seafood delicacies such as house-made fried horse mackerel and seared red seabream sushi, as well as roast beef prepared at the live kitchen, summer-exclusive dishes like “Chilled Capellini with Octopus and Summer Vegetables” and “Eel Nigiri,” as well as a wide variety of desserts. All this is accompanied by an all-you-can-drink beverage selection.

Chilled beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages are also available in the “Premium Lounge” at the back of the lobby and the “After-Bath Lounge” adjacent to the large public bath.
