The “Beach Terrace Balcony King,” as the name implies, has a balcony that also overlooks the palm trees on the pool terrace, allowing for an extraordinary experience. We stayed in a “deluxe room” with twin beds. The interior was designed to make effective use of the 25m2 space, with a sofa, low chair, table, and other necessary furnishings to make you feel at home.
The hotel is also environmentally conscious, and water is bottled from the water server provided. The bath area has a shower room with two types of showers. As a Japanese, I would have liked to have a bathtub, but the bathrooms are equipped with all the necessary functions, so there are no problems with my stay.
Looking outside, I saw a row of skyscrapers, typical of the city-state of Singapore. There are many buildings, but they are not cramped together in a row, and I got the impression that they were built according to a solid urban plan. I guess there must be strict regulations because of the prime location, but I was impressed by the fact that this is Singapore.
Let’s also take a look at Mosella, an all-day dining restaurant located on the entrance floor. The terrace where Mosella is located was designed to resemble a forest, with a longhouse-like design built over the water at the back of the terrace. Although it is located in the middle of the city, it makes you feel as if you are visiting a resort in a surrounding country.
The interior of the restaurant has a high ceiling, creating a sense of openness. Since we only had a buffet breakfast here, we do not know about the lunch and dinner menus, but we were told that the restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine. The breakfast buffet was as good as you would expect from a five-star hotel, with a large selection of Western and Chinese dishes. The live kitchen also offered freshly boiled noodle dishes.
Due to our schedule, we had little time to stay at the hotel, but the unique building that embodies an urban oasis and the hospitality of a prestigious hotel with its service will provide you with an elegant experience. Recommended for those who want to enjoy a relaxing stay in Singapore.
