Don Quijote will open a new store specializing in souvenirs, “Omiyage Donki 730COURT Store” (2 Aza Okawa, Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture) on May 29. Business hours are from 9:00 to 24:00.
The store is located on the first floor of SOUTH COURT, a commercial facility “730COURT” in the center of Ishigaki Island. It is about a 5-minute walk from the Ishigaki Port Terminal, where ferries connecting Ishigaki Island with the surrounding islands of Yaeyama arrive and depart, and is also easily accessible from the Euglena Mall shopping district.
The compact sales floor of approximately 36 tsubo (121.8 m2) is home to a lineup of approximately 1,500 souvenir items carefully selected from the best-selling items at the Don Quijote Ishigakijima Store, located approximately 4 km away from the new store. Yu-pack” delivery service is available in the store, allowing customers to enjoy “empty-handed sightseeing” after purchase.
Specifically, the store offers a wide variety of items that visitors will want for themselves, including T-shirts with official logos by beverage and food manufacturers representing Ishigaki Island and Okinawa, variety goods, T-shirts with the official character “Donpen” dressed as a shisa, famous Okinawan sweets, awamori, glass goods, and more.
Ishigaki City has recorded the highest number of tourists ever, with an estimated 1.49 million visitors in 2025, thanks to the stable number of cruise ship calls (130 per year) and the reopening of international flights and new flights. The number of visitors is expected to increase further.
With the opening of the new store, Don Quijote will have two locations on Ishigaki Island: “Omiyage Don Quijote 730COURT Store” and “Don Quijote Ishigakijima Store” (462-1 Ohama, Ishigaki, Okinawa Prefecture).
For those who want to enjoy shopping efficiently between sightseeing within walking distance, we recommend using “Souvenir Donki”, and for those who want to take their time to select necessary foods and enjoy various genres such as home appliances and cosmetics while touring the island with a rental car, we recommend using “Ishigakijima Store”.
