The UCC Coffee Museum (6-6-2 Minatojima-nakamachi, Chuo-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture), operated by UCC Japan, will reopen this summer on July 1 after a six-year absence.
In addition to the existing exhibits introducing the origins, cultivation, grading, roasting, brewing, and culture of coffee, two new areas, “Coffee Science and Future Experience Lab” and “Coffee Experience,” will be opened. The “Coffee Experience” area will offer a variety of workshops, including an exhibit where visitors can learn by touch under the guidance of a “coffee doctor,” a coffee type diagnosis corner, an authentic pairing experience, a paper drip experience, making original blends, a hand-roasting experience, and a 3D latte art experience that even children can enjoy. The event will also feature a variety of workshops.
Admission is by reservation only, and is 880 yen for adults and 440 yen for children.
