Kanagawa Prefecture will launch the “Kanagawa Tokutoku Campaign ‘Kanatoku! a cashless payment point redemption project, will be implemented from June 19.
This measure is designed to reduce the burden on consumers affected by the prolonged price hikes and to support businesses in the prefecture. By choosing to make cashless payments with a smartphone at participating stores in the prefecture, customers can receive points worth up to 20% (worth up to 2,500 yen per cashless service and up to 1,500 yen per transaction).
Target cashless services are AEON Pay, au PAY, d-pay, PayPay, Melpay, and Rakuten Pay. The campaign will end early if the budget limit (18 billion yen) is reached.
