Takarajimasya will release “TRAIN TREASURES 2026 JR-CENTRAL edition” trading cards in collaboration with JR Tokai on June 5. Priced at 880 yen per pack of five cards, the cards will be available at LAWSON and HMV & BOOKS online in addition to the e-commerce site (not available at bookstores).
The famous vehicles of JR Tokai are now available in 100 types of Trekkie cards. In addition to “Past Train Cards” and “Future Train Cards” using railroad photographs, the collection also includes “Illustration Cards for Development” and “Head Mark Cards. Some of the photos are said to be digitized data from valuable positive films preserved by JR Tokai.
There are five levels of rarity: normal (50 types), rare (27 types), double rare (13 types), super rare (9 types), and legendary (1 type), with more luxurious card decorations as the rarity increases. Detailed vehicle data is also included on the back of each card.
