JR Tokai and NANGA will pre-sell the “Doctor Yellow SLEEPING BAG,” the first sleeping bag produced in collaboration, through crowdfunding.
The sleeping bag reproduces the vivid yellow color that does not fade away even in the harsh environment of the outdoors and the unique streamlined lines of the car body. The sides are decorated with the same blue accent lines as the Doctor Yellow.
Only European waterfowl feathers are used for the down, and AURORA TEX, a 40dn nylon waterproof and breathable material, is used for the outer layer and 15dn ripstop nylon for the lining. The high moisture retention properties that block out cold air and the three-dimensional shape that reduces pressure on the feet also provide comfort.
The YKK zippers glow in the dark, the “Dr.YELLOW” embroidery logo, and the exclusive storage bag are just a few of the details. Regular sizes are available, and the standard height is up to 178cm.
The project period is from May 19, 15:00 to June 30, 23:59. Commercialization of the product will be finalized when the target amount is reached. The regular plan is 77,000 yen, the early support plan with 10% discount is 69,300 yen (limited to 30), the early support plan with 5% discount is 73,150 yen (limited to 40), and the plan with NANGA factory tour is 88,000 yen (limited to 3).
The first 100 bottles are scheduled to ship in mid-November. Subsequent shipments are expected in the summer and fall of 2027.
