JR Kyushu and JR West Japan will sequentially release “Kumamotto Adventure Ticket,” a special ticket for a round trip in Kumamoto Prefecture, from June 17! Adventure Ticket,” which allows passengers to tour around Kumamoto Prefecture, will go on sale sequentially from June 17. The tickets are available from July 1 to December 31.
Free ticket that allows unlimited rides on ordinary and rapid trains in the Kumamoto area for two or three consecutive days. Paper tickets are available through “JR Kyushu Internet Train Reservations”, and digital tickets are available through the “tabiwa by WESTER” and “my route” smartphone applications.
The applicable routes and sections are: Kagoshima Main Line, Omuta – Yatsushiro; Hohi Main Line, Kumamoto – Takimizu; and Sankaku Line, Udo-Sankaku. With the purchase of a seat reservation ticket, passengers can also board ordinary and rapid trains in ordinary carriages, while those boarding limited express trains on conventional lines, including D&S trains, require a separate limited express ticket, etc. (only the fare portion is valid), and cannot use the Kyushu Shinkansen.
