During the applicable period, guests who make one reservation and stay at a participating facility in Fukui Prefecture for two or more persons will be given a coupon to recharge the “Fukui Happi Coin”, a local currency worth 5,000 yen per person per night. The coupon can be registered and used as an electronic tourist coupon after downloading the “Fuku App” smartphone application, or it can be used as a paper coupon (money coupon) worth 4,000 yen.
Up to 2 nights for consecutive nights. The first round is for stays between June 12 and July 12 (reservations made after May 12). Distribution will end as soon as the charge coupons for each accommodation facility run out.
No conditions are set for the method of reservation (direct booking, OTA, or travel agency), but tour products that include transportation + lodging are only eligible if the breakdown of the trip price can be clearly identified. Coupon distribution conditions (e.g., order of reservation, order of stay, etc.) vary by facility and business, so please confirm details at the time of reservation.
Eligible facilities include Courtyard by Marriott Fukui, Natural Hot Spring Wakasa no Yu Dormy Inn Tsuruga, Hotel Gran Vinario TSURUGA, and Hotel Route Inn Fukui Ekimae. Jalan and Rakuten Travel also offer special plans.
