In this event, participants (runners) eat curry and collect stamps at 21 restaurants in seven cities: Yokosuka, Kanda, Shimokitazawa, Musashikosugi, Teganuma, Shibuya, and Saitama. All participants (runners) will receive original goods according to the number of stamps they have.

The Metropolitan Curry Town Collaboration Project, consisting of seven cities in the Tokyo metropolitan area, will hold the “2026 Metropolitan Cross-City Curry Marathon Stamp Rally” from May 16 to November 1.

Standard Course (7 stores): Clear file

Half course (14 stores conquered): Can badge, clear file

Complete course (all stores): acrylic key ring, can badge, clear file

Participating restaurants were selected by the project leader, Monko Ichijo, a curry and spice cookery researcher. Each restaurant offers its own unique menu, such as Kanda’s pork spare rib medicinal curry, Yokosuka Gunkan Curry that recreates the taste of a 1908 naval kappo technique, and Shimokitazawa’s soup curry with salted zangi and plenty of vegetables.

Those who participate (eat and drink) wearing the official original T-shirt will receive drink and topping services at each store. In addition, those who apply for the event by collecting stamps at one store in each of the four different areas of the seven areas will be issued a “Digital Runner’s Pass” and will receive the same services as the T-shirt privilege at the store where they present the pass.

During the six-month period of the event, visitors will be able to tour at their own pace and aim to conquer all the stores on weekends and trips.
