Two hydrangea mountains in Akiruno City, Tokyo, are the venues. One is “Minamisawa Hydrangea Mountain,” where more than 15,000 plants of more than 50 varieties, cared for over half a century, are in full bloom in a secluded area, and the other is “Wonderful Nature Village Hydrangea Mountain,” where pure white Annabelle hydrangeas grow in colonies adjacent to Tokyo Summer Land, offering different early summer scenery.

The Akigawa Valley Hydrangea Festival Executive Committee will hold the “Akigawa Valley Hydrangea Festival 2026” from June 6 to July 5.
