Sanko launches the coolest and lightest “wired” neck cooler in the series.

Posted on June 23, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Sanko has released the “Neck Cooler Lite,” a heat-protection product, at its official online store, retail stores, and various e-commerce sites. The price is 5980 yen.

This wearable cooler is used around the neck and is the lightest in the series’ history, weighing approximately 140g, by daring to use a wired type without a battery. The absence of a battery also minimizes the burden on the neck. The size is variable, so it is said to fit both men and women comfortably.

The cooling mechanism employs the Peltier cooling method, which is also used in small refrigerators, and the aluminum cooling plate begins to cool within two seconds of being turned on. Since the cooling is done by electrical power, the cooling efficiency does not drop even during long periods of use.

The plate temperature can be switched in three stages: high, low, and fluctuation mode. The plate temperature is approximately -17°C in the high mode and approximately -9°C in the low mode compared to the ambient temperature, respectively. Fluctuation mode automatically cycles between high and low to maintain a cooler sensation.

It can be used immediately by simply connecting it to a mobile battery on hand. When used in low mode with a 10000mAh mobile battery, it can be used continuously for about 5.5 hours. A larger capacity mobile battery can be used for an even longer period of time. A USB Type-C cable (120 cm) is included with the main unit.
