NEXCO East Japan closes Hachinohe Road due to the earthquake. (On the Karume IC – Hachinohe IC and the Hachinohe JCT – Hachinohe Kita IC on the up and down lines.

NEXCO East Japan Tohoku Branch closed the Hachinohe Expressway Karume IC to Hachinohe IC (up/down) and Hachinohe JCT to Hachinohe Kita IC (up/down) on April 20, following the earthquake that occurred at 16:53.

The road closure will be lifted as soon as safety is confirmed.
