JAL and Tokyo Disney Resort announced that the specially painted “JAL Jubilee Express” will enter service on domestic routes on June 4.

The specially painted aircraft will be in service for a limited time until around April 2027 to commemorate Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th anniversary event, “Tokyo DisneySea Sparkling Jubilee.

The aircraft is a Boeing 737-800 (registration code: JA339J). The aircraft has a total of 165 seats (20 Class J and 145 standard seats). The routes served include Haneda, Itami, Kansai, Shin-Chitose (Sapporo), Memambetsu, Asahikawa, Kushiro, Obihiro, Aomori, Komatsu, Nanki-Shirahama, Okayama, Hiroshima, Tokushima, Takamatsu, Kochi, Matsuyama, Kitakyushu, Oita, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Miyazaki and Kagoshima.

Flights to and from Shin-Chitose are scheduled for Itami, Kansai, Centrair (Chubu), and Fukuoka. Other routes may be operated, and the flight schedule, including specific routes and flight numbers, will be announced on JAL’s official website in the evening of the day before the flight.

The exterior of the aircraft will be painted in “Jubilee Blue,” the theme color of Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th Anniversary “Sparkling Jubilee,” with Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends in special costumes, and the Aquasphere and Prometheus Volcano, the symbol of Tokyo DisneySea. The Aqua Sphere and Prometheus Volcano, the symbol of Tokyo DisneySea, will be depicted.

In addition, in-flight items such as headrest covers and paper cups (three designs) are also available in special designs. In addition, as a commemorative gift, passengers will receive a randomly selected proof-of-flight sticker (three designs). The paper cups and stickers will be discontinued as soon as they are gone, and the headrest covers cannot be taken home.

The theme song for Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th anniversary, “Come Join the Jubilee,” will be played on board, creating a festive atmosphere just like the park.
