Odakyu Hakone will operate a special train on the GW Hakone Tozan Line that departs from Hakone-Yumoto Station at 11:58 a.m. and arrives at Gora Station at 12:42 p.m., and will sell “Rakuraku Seat Reservation Tickets” that guarantee a seat.
The period is May 3-5, and the number of reserved tickets on sale is 60 for each day. The fare is the regular fare plus 500 yen (+250 yen for children), and will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on April 17 on Odakyu’s ticketing website, EMot.
During this period, priority ticket gates will be opened at Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and at Sounzan and Togendai Stations on the Hakone Ropeway, requiring reservations in advance. Reservations can be made through “Hakone Navi” from 10:00 a.m. on April 17. There is no guarantee of seating, but reservations can be made free of charge.
