In mid-April, Elecom will release a waterproof case for smartphones that combines a design that looks great at leisure or on the beach with high dustproof and waterproof performance that complies with IP68.
The case is securely closed to prevent water ingress, but can be quickly opened and closed when necessary.
The design lineup consists of four types: a wave type with a soft, wavy edge (2,680 yen); a grip type with a smart, nubby silhouette (2,680 yen); a special structure type that allows touch operation underwater (2,980 yen); and a 3D structure type with easy-to-press side buttons (2,280 yen).
The two types, Wave and Grip, are equipped with an air bag in the frame of the case to prevent submersion, and are available in two colors, Aurora and Black. The two types, Underwater Touch and 3D Structure, are available only in black.
Both are compatible with smartphones approximately 6.9 inches or smaller, and each comes with a shoulder strap that can be adjusted in length. They are available at the official Elecom Direct Shop and Amazon.
