Niigata Tourism Association will conduct a travel support campaign “Niigata GoTo Travel” from May 14 to July 17 (reservation start dates vary by operator).
The program offers residents of Niigata Prefecture up to 20% discount on travel and lodging within the prefecture. The maximum discount is 3,000 yen per person per night, and business use is not eligible.
Eligible stays are from May 14 check-in to July 18 check-out. There is no limit to the number of consecutive nights or the number of times the room can be used, and the campaign will end when the budget reaches the limit.
Accommodation and travel reservations will be accepted through travel agencies and OTAs (ikkyu.com, Club Tourism, JTB, Nippon Travel Agency, Yumeyado, Yukoyuko, Rakuten Travel, Jalan). Direct reservations at accommodation facilities are not eligible for the discount, and the eligible travel agencies will be announced at a later date.
