Big bowls of seafood and “deep-sea creatures” gacha with twice the number of winners! GW event at NEOPASA Suruga Bay Numazu in Shin-Tomei, uphill “Numazu Village Station” until May 10

NEOPASA Suruga Bay Numazu upstream section of the New Tomei Expressway (E1A) is holding the Shizuoka Deep Sea Fair through May 10, with events and limited menu items to coincide with the GW season.

Osakana Donburi Restaurant Totomaru offers a GW-only menu item, the “Spectacular Mt. Fuji Mountain Donburi” (4154 yen, with 2 cups of green laver soup), a total weight of 1 kg (3-4 servings) with 10 different types of ingredients including tuna, sea bream, kama-age sakura shrimp & shirasu, and Fuji salmon.

The lineup also includes the “Shizuoka Red and White Bowl Set” (1,848 yen, with aonori soup), which features fresh sakura shrimp, kama-age sakura shrimp, and kama-age shirasu all in one bowl; the lunch-only “Tuna and Suruga Bay Deep Sea Fish Nakama Sushi” (8 pieces, 1958 yen, with aonori soup); and the easy take-out “Fuji Salmon and Shirasu Sakuraebi Lunchbox” (1628 yen Fuji Salmon and Shirasu Sakuraebi Bento” (1,628 yen), etc. are also available.

As part of the GW event, a free-of-charge “rock-paper-scissors” tournament will be held on April 25, 26, and 29, and May 2-6, 9, and 10 (from 1:00 p.m. on each day). If you win the end of the janken match with the staff, you will receive an original product such as the popular souvenir “Shizuoka Black Oden Curry Crackers in a 14-pack”.

In addition, the “Village Station Original Gacha Gacha – Nakamatachi of the Deep Sea,” a gacha gacha unique to the locality of Suruga Bay, the deepest sea in Japan, will offer double the usual odds of winning during the GW period.

The gacha gacha is a gacha gacha with colorful “Mendako” straps (7 kinds in total) and deep-sea creature coin cylinders (4 kinds in total), priced at 400 yen per hit. If you draw a winning ticket, you will receive a “deep-sea fish print cookie” limited to the Suruga Bay Numazu SA uphill section.
