The Akita Prefectural Tourism Federation will launch the “Akita Prefecture Not Yet Discovered. The Akita Prefecture Tourism Federation will launch the “Akita Travel Campaign Vol. 1” on May 7, 2012.

The program offers a maximum discount of 12,000 yen per person per reservation for accommodation facilities in Akita Prefecture. Coupons will be distributed at Jalan net, Rakuten Travel, Ikyu.com, and Agoda. Coupons will be distributed until July 30 (or until they run out).

The applicable stay period is from May 15 check-in to July 31 check-out. Discounts are even greater for lodging plans that include experiences, meals, local sake, and specialty products.

The company also offers “add-on coupons.”
