Shin Nihonkai Ferry will offer a “Family Discount,” a 15% discount on private room fares and passenger car fares for passengers accompanied by their children.
All Shin Nihonkai Ferry routes between Maizuru/Tsuruga/Niigata/Akita and Hokkaido are covered, with northbound service applicable from July 1 to 30, August 3 to 6, and 16 to 31, and southbound service from July 1 to August 7 and 17 to 31.
For example, a one-way full fare for a family of two adults and an infant traveling on the Otaru-Niigata route with a passenger car (less than 5 meters) in a State A private room is 61,500 yen, but 52,280 yen after discount is applied.
Applications must be made at least 14 days prior to embarkation by phone or online reservation. For online reservations, e-boarding tickets can be issued in advance via My Page, eliminating the need to go to the ticket office on the day of boarding.
