On April 27, Iwatani Corporation launched the Cassette Fu “Windshield” cassette stove. It will be available at the official online store and at home centers nationwide.
The stove is equipped with a wind shield structure surrounding the burner head to suppress the swinging of the flame caused by wind and to prevent heat from escaping. The stove is said to “maintain stable heat even outdoors or in places easily affected by wind,” such as outdoor use.
The maximum heating value is 3.5 kW (3000 kcal/h), and a hard case for convenient storage and transportation is included. The main unit measures 334 x 274 x 93 mm (W x D x H) and weighs approximately 1.4 kg (main unit) and 2.2 kg when the case is stored.
