Hotel New Akao to Build First Terrace for Dining by the Waves. Offering pasta and burgers made with Izu and Shizuoka ingredients.

Hotel New Akao (1993-250, Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture) will open the hotel’s first terrace area for outdoor dining at its buffet restaurant, Main Dining Nishiki, on June 1.

Located right on the edge of the waves with the quay of the scenic “Nishikigaura” rising before your eyes, you can enjoy the view of the Sagaminada Sea, the sound of the waves, and the sea breeze directly from the restaurant, while savoring a menu featuring ingredients from Izu and Shizuoka Prefecture.

The menu includes appetizers such as “Cold Tegamino with Asagiri Kogen Egg, Suruga Bay Shirasu and Sakura Shrimp” (1,500 yen), “Neapolitan-style Shizuoka Sodachi’s Melted Beef Rigatoni” (2,400 yen), “Margherita Pinsa with Fresh Mozzarella from Kodawari Milk” (2,300 yen), and “Izu New Summer Orange Cassata” (900 yen). Mozzarella Burger with Lemon Tartar” (2,300 yen) and “Izu New Summer Orange Cassata” (900 yen), a dessert available only in early summer.

On the beverage menu, the hotel will offer gin and tonic (1,200 yen) and Negroni (1,320 yen) cocktails from the hotel’s original brand “SEACLIFF HOTEL NEW AKAO EDITION” in collaboration with Atami’s craft gin distillery, SEACLIFF.

The restaurant has a total of 20 seats, including tables and sofas, and is open from 11:00 to 16:30 (last order 16:00). In case of rain, guests will be guided to indoor seating in the main dining room brocade. The restaurant is open to non-guests as well, and a direct access line to the restaurant after enjoying marine activities will be provided.
