Kodansha will release “Expressway & Service Area/Parking Area Guide 2026-2027 Latest Edition” on April 16, 2012, in A4 size, 192 pages, priced at 1,500 yen.

It features the latest information on SA/PAs that have evolved in recent years, including dining and takeout menus, experience corners, and services designed to be attractive on social networking services. In addition, the book is designed to be kept in the car for easy searching during a drive, with a layout that is easy to read and easy to navigate.

The special feature page of the 2026-2027 edition introduces 29 “Michi-no-Eki” (roadside stations) and their nearby tourist spots, which do not require an additional fee when re-entering after temporarily exiting if the vehicle is equipped with ETC2.0. The opening section features “rice bowls” and “noodles,” which are cost-effective at SA/PAs, with a selection of “menus that allow you to enjoy different tastes” from all over the country.
