Kita-Akita City will implement a summer hospitality lodging support program starting May 1.
Local coupons worth up to 4,000 yen that can be used for sightseeing or at restaurants and souvenir stores will be distributed to those who stay at participating lodging facilities in the city. The coupon can be applied to stays of up to three consecutive nights.
The amount of coupons to be distributed depends on the price of the accommodation plan, with coupons worth 3,000 yen for a stay of 4,000 yen or more but less than 10,000 yen per person per night, and coupons worth 4,000 yen for a stay of 10,000 yen or more.
The accommodation facilities include minshuku, cottages, and hot spring resorts in the Takanosu, Kogawa, Moriyoshi, and Ani areas. For details, please check the official page.
