The Sumida River Fireworks Festival Executive Committee announced that the 48th Sumida River Fireworks Festival will be held on July 25. The time is from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. In case of stormy weather, the event will be canceled.

As in previous years, the event will be held at two venues, with the “first venue” from Sakura Bridge downstream to Kototoi Bridge upstream producing approximately 9,350 shots, and the “second venue” from Komagata Bridge downstream to Stable Bridge upstream producing 10,650 shots for a total of approximately 20,000 shots.

At the first site, a fireworks competition (200 shots) will be held by 10 companies, including those with a connection to the Ryogoku fireworks and those who have performed well at domestic fireworks shows.
