Ryohin Keikaku, a MUJI company, will release “Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Double-layer Structure Cooling Tumbler” on April 22. Two capacities are available: 450mL for 1,790 yen and 600mL for 1,990 yen. They will be available at MUJI stores nationwide and online.
A double-layer vacuum structure is used to prevent condensation and prolong the coldness of the drink. The inside has a ceramic coating that suppresses metallic odors and allows the user to enjoy the original aroma of the drink. When we poured barley tea from the company’s PET bottles and drank it, the smell of the stainless steel material did not bother us, and we experienced an aroma similar to that of freshly brewed barley tea.
The tumbler’s mouthpiece is thinly finished for a smooth mouthfeel. Three matte colors (off-white, light green, and charcoal gray) are available to coordinate with the tableware.
At the “Daily Necessities for a Comfortable Summer” hands-on briefing held on April 2, we set up a corner for drink bottles (My Bottle) that can be used when going out. Here we will introduce a collection of items that will be available in new colors and popular products.
