Hitachinaka Seaside Railway is operating a free “Nemophila Shuttle Bus” again this year until May 6 to coincide with the nemophila blooming season at the National Hitachi Seaside Park (605-4, Onuma, Mato, Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture).
The service runs from Ajigaura Station, the last stop on the Minato Line, to the Kaihin-guchi entrance near Miharashi Hill on the east side of the park, where nemophila blooms.
From Katsuta Station on the JR and Minato Lines to Ajigaura Station on the Minato Line is a 28-minute ride on the Hitachinaka Kaihin Railway, and from there, transfer to the shuttle bus at the same station for a 9-minute ride to the Kaihin-guchi bus stop.
