Grand Mercure Nasu Highlands Resort & Spa, 21% off during Spring/Summer Sale. Revamped Evening and Morning Buffets, and Family-Friendly Facilities

Posted on April 12, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Rakuten Travel is holding “Rakuten Travel Spring/Summer Fair,” a special sale for GW and summer vacation travel reservations, until April 20. By using Rakuten Coupon and Inn Coupon distributed during the period, you can save up to 21% off accommodation plans.

Grand Mercure Nasu Kogen Resort & Spa (4449-2 Takaku Hei, Nasu-machi, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture), a popular family vacation destination, is now offering an overnight buffet plan with two meals per night, with the regular price starting at 14,000 yen per person for two persons per room.

This resort hotel offers dynamic views of the Nasu mountain range and the Nasu Highlands at its foot, and has a wide range of facilities and guest rooms that are ideal for families with children. The hotel has introduced an all-inclusive policy that includes dinner, breakfast, drinks and snacks in the lounge, and most of the in-house services in the hotel are included in the room rate.

The hot spring bathhouse features a spacious indoor bath, open-air rock bath, and sauna. Other facilities include a lounge where adults can relax, a family lounge where families can spend time together, indoor and outdoor kids’ parks, and an outdoor swimming pool.

The theme of the buffet, which was just renewed this April, is “Marche,” a market where seasonal ingredients gather. You can enjoy a menu that incorporates local delicacies such as Nasu gyoza (dumplings), grilled Yashio trout, seafood from the surrounding sea, and fresh milk from the highlands.

Around the hotel, there are many sightseeing spots and activities such as a gyro ride through the forest, Nasu Highland Park, and Rindo Lake Family Farm. The hotel also offers special ticketed lodging plans.
