In conjunction with the Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary “Sparkling Jubilee,” Tokyo DisneySea added a new element to “Dance the Globe! on April 8.
This limited production, available only during the anniversary event, features Disney friends dressed in their 25th anniversary costumes. To celebrate the anniversary, the 25th anniversary theme song “Dance the Globe! was played while pyro shot up into the sky, creating a spectacular stage climax.
The show began on January 14, and is the first stage show to be staged at the American Waterfront’s Waterfront Park in about 12 years. The show celebrates entertainment that has developed through the exchange of diverse cultures and showcases a wide variety of styles of dance and music from around the world.
The 25-minute performance is a fusion of Disney characters, the world, and music, including rhythms that remind us of the earthly savanna, lovely dances that remind us of European festivals, and moments that are unmistakably Japanese.
Entry” on the Tokyo Disney Resort App is required to view the show, and from April 8, seats for seated viewing and standing viewing locations will be available for those eligible for entry acceptance. This service is subject to the “Disney Premier Access” fee-based service.
