Comfort Hotel Yokohama Kannai” renewed guest rooms and common space to a design with a sense of openness by the sea, within walking distance of BASEGATE Yokohama Kannai

Posted on April 12, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Choice Hotels Japan renewed Comfort Hotel Yokohama Kannai (3-33 Sumiyoshi-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) on March 31. The hotel has 241 guest rooms.

The renewed rooms and common spaces have been designed to evoke the urban culture of Yokohama under the theme of “NAMI,” and have been furnished with a design that combines the openness of the seaside with a sense of comfort.

In particular, the guest rooms are designed in colors that evoke the image of the ocean, white waves, and sandy beaches, and the “Comfort Library Cafe,” a shared space, has been redesigned and rearranged with new seating and layout to provide a space that is easy to use not only for breakfast but also for reading, working at a desk, or taking a break.

In the Yokohama Kannai area, a large-scale complex, BASEGATE Yokohama Kannai, opened on March 19, and Comfort Hotel Yokohama Kannai, located a minute walk from Kannai Station, is also within walking distance to the district.
