Tokyo Disneyland will hold the special event “Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World” from April 9 to June 30. Prior to the start of the event tomorrow, the parade was previewed.
This time, I visited the “It’s a Sweet Time!” event, which is held once a day on the parade route. The event series “Disney’s Pal Palooza” was held in 2025, and the third installment of the series was well received.
The concept of the parade is “a cute and colorful resort made entirely of candy” as envisioned by Vanellope in the Disney movie “Sugar Rush. The parade will be held once or twice a day for a total time of about 35 minutes.
During the performance, the dance will stop at each area (3 locations). You can also participate in the “gummy chocolate” dance on the spot.
Of course, the event’s limited-edition items are a big hit when watching the parade! Don’t forget to show off your sweet tooth with the adorable catsuits (2,800 yen) and the Sweet Donut Ring (1,800 yen), which makes a sound when shaken.
