Nankai Electric Railway will begin operation of its new sightseeing train “GRAN Tenku” on April 24. Prior to this, on April 9, a “GRAN Tenku Safety Operation Prayer Ceremony” was held at platform 0 of Namba Station, where attendant uniforms were unveiled for the first time.

GRAN Tenku “Platform No. 0” is newly built at Namba Station. This is a renewal of the platform that was previously used for the No. 1 line’s drop-off platform, and will be used exclusively for boarding and alighting after the GRAN Tenku service begins. The curved design and spotlights create a calm and luxurious atmosphere. The station also incorporates materials related to the railway line to create a memorable space befitting the first station to serve the areas along the line.
