Iconia Hospitality will rebrand Hotel Altia Toba (1061-9 Anrakujima-cho, Toba, Mie Prefecture) and open it as an all-inclusive hotel, Toba Ocean Resort, on August 1.
The hotel will be temporarily closed from May 7 for renovation work, and a special accommodation plan will be offered from April 1 to 30. The “Arigato (Thank You) Plan” includes a bottle of sparkling wine in the guest room to express gratitude for the 34 years since the hotel’s opening, and a choice of three Japanese kaiseki meals or two full-course Western-style dinners featuring ingredients from Ise-Shima, such as lobsters, Japanese black beef, and natural sea bream. The plan’s room rate starts at 13,870 yen per night with two meals.
The rebranding will take advantage of the location where all rooms have ocean views, while converting to an all-inclusive style that includes food, beverage, lounge, and on-site activities as a facility where guests can experience the local culture and nature.
