Granbury Park (3-4-1 Tsuruma, Machida City, Tokyo) will hold “Hawaiian Days 2026,” an event to experience Hawaii, from April 29 to May 6.
Last year, a record number of approximately 590,000 people visited the event, and this year’s event will be the fifth. With tropical music, a hula dance stage, Hawaiian gourmet kitchen cars, general merchandise and apparel sales, and workshops, visitors can experience an extraordinary experience as if they were visiting Hawaii, even while in Machida.
Hours of operation are weekdays from 10:00 to 19:00 and weekends and holidays from 10:00 to 20:00 (until 18:00 on the last day only). This year, the hours have been extended to 20:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays so that visitors can stay longer and more comfortably. From May 2 to 6, a free shuttle bus will be available from Yokohama Station and Sagamiono Station.
Highlights include a special stage featuring KONISHIKI, Mike Maki, and other special artists, stunning performances by the professional hula dancer teams “Rock a hula girls” and “Arnera Girls,” and a hula and Tahitian dance show featuring a record number of about 120 teams. The gourmet food lineup will include authentic Hawaiian food such as Hawaiian grilled cheese from H&H, mochiko chicken from Loco Kitchen, acai bowls from Lino Marama Café, and masa salad from Honolulu Malasada.
Goods stores of note include “LOCAL MOTION HAWAII” with cute tanning kitty tote bags and local sundries, and “SNOOPY’S SURF SHOP” that sells stuffed animals of Snoopy enjoying surfing. Also, “ALOHA COLLECTION,” which sells fashionable Hawaiian sundries, will open for the first time.
