Anchor, USB charger that detects iPhone model, with over 20 different displays including PD and device temperature.

On April 9, Anker Japan released the Anker Nano Charger (45W, Display, Swing Plug) USB charger. It is priced at 3,990 yen.

The charger has a swinging outlet plug that deploys at 90° and 180°, a display that shows charging status and other information, and one USB Type-C port with up to 45W output.

In addition to the USB Power Delivery protocol of the connected device, the display detects the model (in the case of the iPhone, the company’s proprietary custom chip detects the model (in some cases) and displays the model name, output, body temperature, and charging progress.

The main unit measures approximately 36 x 36 x 40 mm (W x D x H) (excluding the plug), weighs approximately 72 g, and is available in four colors: black, white, blue, and orange (blue and orange will be available in late April).
