The Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group will open TAOYA Aso (5-35 Oaza Kawai, Minamiaso-mura, Aso-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture) on July 1. Prior to this, the company began accepting reservations for lodging on April 6.
A hot spring resort hotel located in Aso-Kujyu National Park in the center of Kyushu. The hotel features an all-glass lounge with a panoramic view of the five Aso peaks as if it were a painting, a restaurant where you can enjoy an evening and morning buffet featuring local ingredients including “red beef,” and an infinity open-air bath with a spectacular view. The hotel is designed to allow guests to experience the majestic nature of Aso throughout their stay.
This is the second facility in Kumamoto Prefecture following “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Amakusa Hotel Kameya,” but the first under the TAOYA brand. Afternoon tea sweets and evening meal service can also be enjoyed at no extra charge.
The hotel is within a 3-hour drive by car or train from all prefectures in Kyushu, and only about 30 minutes by car from Kumamoto Airport.
