Peak Design will release a new color of its outdoor bag, “Kelp,” on April 10. It will be available at Peak Design Tokyo in Ginza, online store, and authorized retailers nationwide.
Kelp is one of four new colors proposed by Peak Design for September 2025. Kelp has been used in camera bags, travel bags, camera gear, and packing tools, as it is energetic, active, and stain resistant in harmony with nature, and is both practical and refreshing.
The outdoor bag lineup includes lightweight, highly customizable backpacks (45L/25L/18L) and sling bags (7L/4L/2L). All bags in the lineup use Terra Shell 210D ripstop nylon, a 100% recycled material that offers an excellent balance of lightness and durability, for the outer fabric. The back and shoulder straps are made of breathable nylon mesh.
The backpack offers high storage capacity with its expandable roll-top structure and abundant pockets. By utilizing “packing tools” such as camera cubes, packing cubes, and various pouches (sold separately), the backpack can accommodate clothing, food, camping gear, sports equipment, photographic equipment, and more. Rain fly covers (sold separately) are also available in various sizes in case of rain.
