Oyayu Onsen has newly established the Tateshina Club Guestrooms with Open-air Baths at its lodging facility, Tateshina Oyayu Onsen (4035 Kitayama Tateshina Kogen, Chino City, Nagano Prefecture), which has been in business for 15 years.

Tateshina Club” rooms are inspired by literary figures associated with the facility and feature Meiji and Taisho style interiors. The rooms also incorporate chinoiserie (European Chinese taste). Rooms can accommodate one to four guests.

This time, as part of the “100th Anniversary Countdown Project” for the 100th anniversary of the hotel’s opening, two of the Tateshina Club rooms (Ito Sakio Suite and Yanagihara Hakuren Suite) were equipped with open-air baths. They were positioned as the highest guest rooms of the facility.

The open-air bath faces a balcony and is designed to feel the breeze of nature. It is also equipped with underfloor heating for comfortable travel to the bathtub.
