TAOYA Hakone (1246 Sengokuhara, Hakone-cho, Ashigarashita-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture) of the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group is now offering a basic buffet plan with two meals per night. Prices start at 20,500 yen per person for double occupancy.
Surrounded by the nature of Sengokuhara, this hot spring resort is a hideaway for adults and features a modern space inspired by the traditional craft of marquetry. Guests can enjoy views of the sky and forest blending together from the large baths and open-air baths, and all guest rooms have forest views.
The dinner buffet features live special roast beef served with truffle red wine sauce and seafood teppan-yaki. The lineup also includes Odawara oden, a local gourmet dish, and Sanma-men, and crepe Suzette, a warm dessert made with Numazu mandarin oranges.
The TAOYA brand, which offers an all-inclusive system, allows all-you-can-drink beverages including alcohol at dinner and in the lounge. Afternoon tea including freshly squeezed Mont Blanc and Tororo soba for the evening meal can also be enjoyed at no extra charge.
