Starbucks Coffee to move its store on the 3rd floor of 1 Tamiami at Central Japan International Airport in July. From the 2nd Centrair Building to inside the Departure Lobby.

Posted on April 5, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Starbucks Coffee Japan will open a new store in July in the departure lobby on the third floor of Terminal 1 at Centrair (Central Japan).

The store previously operating in the 2nd Centrair Building, which is connected via a connecting walkway, will be relocated to a new location closer to the check-in counter. The four stores will continue to operate at Centrair.

The store is designed with a fresh green theme and features “lenticular art” that changes patterns in three dimensions depending on the angle of view. The store has wide aisles that are easy to use even with carry-on cases, and tables with ample space to place luggage at your feet.
