RIHGA Royal Hotels will open a new brand hotel, Anchored by RIHGA Osaka Namba (5-6-16 Nihonbashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), on April 3. Developed by Tokyu Land Corporation, the hotel is located about a 2-minute walk from Ebisucho Station on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line and about a 10-minute walk from JR Shin-Imamiya Station.
The concept is “PLAYFUL OSAKA. The hotel will offer a stay experience that incorporates art and performances that express the energy of the Namba/Shinsekai area. A mural featuring a phoenix will be installed in the lobby, and artwork by artists associated with Osaka will be placed throughout the hotel.
There are 200 rooms of three types: 131 twin rooms (24.6 to 27 m2), 67 double rooms (24.6 to 27 m2), and 2 universal rooms (40.5 m2). The rooms are equipped with a bathroom with a washbasin, a separate washbasin, and a separate toilet. Some rooms have a connect room function to accommodate up to 7 persons. Concept rooms with tatami mats will also be available.
A restaurant, “Dining & Lounge KOTE KOTE,” will be set up in the building. Breakfast will be buffet style with Osaka-style menu, and local food such as teppan dishes and kushikatsu (skewered pork cutlets) will be served for lunch and dinner. The top floor will be equipped with a large public bath and sauna.
To celebrate the opening, the first 100 pairs of visitors will receive a PLAYFUL OSAKA MYSTERY WALK kit, a real-life mystery-solving game that will take them around the Shinsekai area. A stay plan with the kit will be available for RIEGA members. The reservation period is from March 27 to April 30.
