PUMA Japan launched a collaborative collection “PUMA x Pokémon” to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon.
Combining the world of Pokemon with Puma’s sports style, the colors and design express the contrast between the sun (Aefi/Taiyo Pokemon) and the moonlight (Blackie/Gekko Pokemon).
The lineup includes shoes (18,700 yen to 19,800 yen), a dad cap (6,930 yen), a PUMATECH-X tracksuit set (jacket 14,000 yen, pants 13,200 yen), T-shirts (6,600 yen), hoodies (11,000 yen), shorts (8,800 (¥8,800), and a sacosh (¥8,800).
Among other things, the shoes are based on the MOSTRO and FADE NITRO, and feature day and night themed color schemes. The shoes incorporate custom hangtags and subtle Pokémon details, and will be available in five models, including two popular Pikachu varieties and Mimikyu, in addition to Effie and Blackie.
