KDDI and Okinawa Cellular launched the “au Starlink Ferry Wi-Fi Ticket (24 hours) + 0.5GB (3 days)” on povo2.0, which includes the right to use Wi-Fi on board via satellite communication Starlink and data capacity. The period is from 10:00 on February 26 to 9:30 on May 14, and the fee is 1,280 yen.

This topping-up combines a ticket for 24-hour use of “au Starlink Ferry Wi-Fi,” which enables high-speed, low-latency Internet access even at sea, with 0.5GB (3 days) of povo2.0 data capacity for convenient off-board (land-based) communication.

Normally, purchasing “au Starlink Ferry Wi-Fi” by itself requires 1,500 yen for 24 hours (free for au users and users of specific plans), but with this topping, data capacity is included but at a lower price than usual.

The routes and vessels covered are as follows. The number of routes and vessels will be expanded in the future.
