Odakyu Electric Railway will implement a timetable revision on March 14 for all lines.
The limited express Romancecar service will increase the number of down trains on weekdays at 7:00 a.m. The train from Shinjuku to Fujisawa, which had been set as “Temporary No. 51” from 2025, will become a regular train as “Enoshima No. 1” as a result of the revision. The “Sagami No. 93” train from Shinjuku to Isehara will also be newly established.
On Saturdays and holidays, the “Sagami No. 50” will depart from Hadano at 11:00 and arrive at Shinjuku at 12:00, and the “Hakone No. 61” will depart from Shinjuku at 12:00 and arrive at Hakone-Yumoto at 14:00. In addition, the three up-and-down trains that have been operating in the afternoon as the “Sagami” trains to/from Odawara will be changed to the “Hakone” trains to/from Hakone-Yumoto.
In addition, the three “Homeway” trains (two on weekends and holidays) departing from Shinjuku near the end of the day for Hon Atsugi will be changed to stop at Shinyurigaoka Station. Two of these trains will be able to change at Hon Atsugi on weekdays to a local train, which is one train faster than the current train, in order to improve the speed to Odawara.
The nonstop “Super Hakone” service between Shinjuku and Odawara Stations, which is available on weekends and holidays on the down train, will shorten the time required for the No. 5 train departing from Shinjuku at 9:00 a.m. by one minute, restoring its fastest operation at 59 minutes. With the completion of the Kuno River bridge replacement work, the fastest operation in the company’s history is now possible for the first time in about two years.
